I'm so honoured to be part of this awesome project where artist Lani Zastre interviews and hand sketches in pencil a number of Indigenous folks in the community. I also answered a question of what I would like to see happen in terms of how non Indigenous people can live together with Indigenous peoples, you’ll be surprised how I answered!

There once was a little kid who talked too much…what happened to that little kid when they grew up? What happens when someone loves stories and speaking from a young age? Spoiler alert: that little kid was me!

Everyday, aunties, cousins and relatives from every corner of our community are achieving, overcoming and winning. But the positive accomplishments rarely make headlines. We all need to work hard to change this and I have some ideas that could possibly make it so!
