I was so happy to work with 3 North End High Schools and Urban Circle to honour graduates from the past 3 years. This is only the first of what will become an even awesomer and more celebratory annual community event! Thanks to everyone who worked hard to bring it all together in such a short time!

There are so many people who are championing Indigenous education in our classrooms and communities, take a moment before April 8th, 2022 to nominate them! Or if you are that person, you can nominate yourself too!

The smartest people have responded in pandemic specific ways and I am honoured to know so many and to do what I can to help. I have learned how to be a pandemic public speaker and other organizers and organizations have enhanced programs and systems to be pandemic proof.

The root cause of many of our problems in society is poverty. What can we do to end it in Manitoba? I share 2 ideas, five themes and three additional thoughts on how we can end poverty in our community. For a year and a half I've been trying to create a space where mentors, educators and others who want to bring inspiration, motivation and opportunity to young leaders can come together. That space is a Facebook group called Inspiration & Action for Young Leaders!

Read this report and then help me get to work, collaborating and strongly encouraging the City of Winnipeg to take a leadership position on ending poverty in Winnipeg. I want to make a city and community where everyone around me has a good life, is safe and healthy.

To the people who risk personal discomfort to address inequity when they see it - thank you! Your example is the medicine we all need to see at a system level to stomp out racism.
