If these questions got your attention, you need to come to the 2025 Indigenous History & Heritage Gathering from June 2-4th in Winnipeg, MB! It will be featuring workshops, keynote speakers all challenging us to think differently about Indigenous history and will also feature 3 conference streams: the legacy of the truth and reconciliation commission, Indigenous culture and language and sharing our stories. In addition to this there will be field trips as well as your master of ceremonies for this event will be none other than…Michael Redhead Champagne! I personally find a lot of value in attending these types of events, especially for those working on specific projects in this area, it allows you to network with others, learn about their work and get inspired/instructed on how to move forward.
